I am very much still a student of painting and so I shamelessly mimic the techniques of those artists I admire - can you guess which ones? There isn't much truly original left to be done in the art world, so I simply aim to find new ways to combine old techniques and subjects...and have fun doing it!

52-WEEK ILLUSTRATION CHALLENGE
Since 2014 I have been a member of the Facebook group 52-Week Illustration Challenge. As the names suggests, each week has a new theme and the challenge is to complete and post a suitable illustration. I have not managed to submit something every week but I have done more drawings in the past few years because of it, than I have done since uni. It has really pushed me to better myself, and to try a variety of techniques, as you will see.
